Get ready with great enthusiasm for the South Tour! Pick up from Trivandrum Airport and drive to Thiruvananthapuram, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else a day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Thiruvananthapuram. Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala. Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram is an ancient city with a history dating back as early as 1000 BC. Thiruvananthapuram is bound by the Arabian Sea in the west and Tamil Nadu in the east. Named after Anantha Padmanabha or Lord Vishnu, the city is home to many ancient temples. But the landmark is the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple around which the city has been built on seven low hills. The wooded highlands of the Western Ghats in the eastern and northeastern borders give Thiruvananthapuram some of the most enchanting picnic spots. A long shoreline with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought-after tourist destination. Sightseeing in Trivandrum: Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Art Gallery (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple)."
Overnight stay at Thiruvananthapuram.
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else a day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kanyakumari. Captivating Kanyakumari the southernmost end of Tamilnadu and the lands end of India is one of the most popular tourist spots of the country. The beautiful town on the very tip of the Indian Peninsula is set on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The town is at its best during Chaitra Poornima (full moon day in April), when the Sun and Moon are face to face at the same horizon. Other full moon days are also special when you can see the sunset and the moon rise almost simultaneously. Sightseeing in Kanyakumari: Vivekananda Rock, Kanyakumari Devi Temple.
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Rameswaram, on arrival check in to the hotel.If time permits proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Rameswaram. Rameswaram is in the Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu. It is located on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is about 50 kilometres from Mannar Island, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, is connected to mainland India by the Pamban Bridge. Rameswaram is the terminus of the railway line from Chennai and Madurai.Rameswaram Sightseeing includes Ramanathaswamy Temple, Five Faced Hanuman Temple & Pamban Bridge.
After breakfast proceed to Visit Pancha Rathas. This temple is considered to be a marvelous place of architecture, during the Dravidian literature. And visit Mahishamardini caves. Indian rock-cut architecture dating from the late 7th century. Then spend the evening in Mahabalipuram Beach.
Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
Morning after breakfast proceed to Chennai International Airport for return journey.
